It’s early morning rising sun,
a cup of coffee the day has begun.
Waking up to birds chirping morning
dew beneath my shoes.
This day’s progressing so are my nerves,
the light is dimming in between my limbs.
As the sky turns red and purple
colorful and blue, it’s true.
Sunday night butterflies creeping in my insides,
my nerves are running high.
The weekend is replaced with reality, as the week approaches with eternity.
These thoughts are draining my head,
all I want is the week to be left unsaid.
